This restaurant is a dhabba on the name of Punjabi food and the rich cuisine of the land of five rivers. If you're in the mood for some Punjabi food stay miles away from this restaurant.

I was meeting up a good friend for lunch today and we happened to go to Punjabi Tadka. We ordered a Veg Lunch Buffet (Rs 167) and an Amritsari Thaali (Rs 107). Both were pathetic. The dry vegetables were waaay to oily. Ma ki daal and daal makhaani - two dishes that are quasi-staple diets in sadda-punjaab were tasting like crap (I'm sure if I happen to taste some - it'll taste the same!)

The food was high on price, and abyssmally low on taste and quality. Skip it!

I totally agree on yoour views on Punjabi Tadka .... The Food was not fit to be taken ... All the vegetables and curd was stale and when we tried to complain the same to the Staff , they refused to login the complaint .. Even the so called manager - refused to listen to us stating that people come and ea there and enjoy a lot .........

i hope te food regulatory authority of india can take a step forward and ban the licanses of such resto.....

The only thing worse than the food that is served in this place is the environment it is served in...On second thoughts, the air conditioning is also pretty bad and so is the service...

Hmm...seems like there are quite a few things worse than the food at this joint and unfortunately they are all in the same place!!

Skip it even if you eat to live.

Hello everyone. I read the above comments and couldnt believe it. I used to live in gurgaon for 2 months from november-december 2005. I used to eat regularly here and the food quality was very good. Especially chicken lawabdaar and kadhai paneer was awesome. I tried other meny like amrtisar thali and razma chawal. they were equally good. But if they have degraded the quality, thats a great a pity. they should maintain their quality. I agree with the high prices.

well perhaps i know the reason why the restaurant is bad...the owners dont pay there supliers properly.they owe all there supliers lacs of ruppes .so no good supliewr works with them twice.

i ate once in their faridabad restro.i can say the restaurant can easily qualify for worst restro in delhi and ncr towns

mmmmmmm i think wth so many people having same view i think we can easily establish a club for this restaurant haters.i once tried their tandori chicken ,it tasted as if the cook forgot to put it in tandoor.
